Regular Ringing Times

The bells will usually be rung for all main Sunday services. We practice on a Monday evenings 7.15pm to 9pm. Visiting ringers are welcome to join us. We also ring for a variety of other events including weddings, funerals, to mark national and local events and for peal and quarter peal attempts. Details of when the bells will be rung, usually published a minimum of one month in advance can be found below. At St Mark’s we have a modern sound management system in place. This means we can limit the volume of the bells outside during practice and during extended periods of ringing. When ringing for weddings we will reduce the volume at the rear of the church but leave the front at normal levels. All other ringing will be at a normal volume.
