JBlueLineAE - Android Edition

Installation

Allow installation from 'Unknown Sources'.

This is currently not possible over the air via the Android Market. I have yet to pay the $25 listing fee!

Over the Air

Over-the-Air Installation, try the JAD file first. If that does not work, try the JAR file after verifying the required space is available.

These instructions assume you are browsing the web on your Android phone.

  1. Change your phone settings to allow installation from unknown sources. (Settings -> Applications)
  2. Download JBlueLineAE.apk direct to your device. The installation will commence on completion.
  3. Click "Install", and the installation will proceed as normal?

Over the Air by QR Code

These instructions assume you are browsing the web on your PC phone armed with your phone in your hand.

  1. If you have not already, install a barcode scanner on your smart phone from Android Market.
  2. Change your phone settings to allow installation from unknown sources. (Settings -> Applications)
  3. Scan this QR Code to download to your device. The installation will commence on completion.
  4. Click "Install", and the installation will proceed as normal?

Via PC

Installation via a personal computer. Download the JAD file locally, then copy across to your mobile device via the USB cable, or Infra Red port (IRDA), or via a Bluetooth, or even Wi-Fi if supported.

These instructions assume you are browsing the web on your PC.

  1. Change your phone settings to allow installation from unknown sources. (Settings -> Applications)
  2. Copy JBlueLineAE.apk to your SD card via USB.
  3. Run the installation by clicking on the file now on your SD card. You will need to use a file manager application from the Android Market. There are several free ones, e.g. ASTRO.
  4. Click "Install", and the installation will proceed as normal.
